The Qualitative Research Network at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin was founded in 2017. The aim of the network is to connect the methodological and substantive research skills at the Charité for health-related / medical qualitative research.

Aims of the Qualitative Research Network
The overall objective of the Qualitative Research Network at the Charité (NQF) is to network the methodological and content-related research competencies at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin for health-scientific, qualitative medical research. For this purpose it is necessary to create a forum, which allows the following:
- a synopsis of current fields of application and concrete projects of health-related qualitative research at the Charité
- the subject-related regular interdisciplinary exchange in the field of qualitative health research at the Charité
- the development of future research fields
- the (further) development of innovative methodological approaches
- the preparation of joint research projects and publications
- promoting the quality of qualitative research
- the training and further education, the imparting of basic qualitative research skills at the Charité
- interprofessional and interdisciplinary exchange and cooperation within and outside the Charité; professional group, disciplinary and interdisciplinary
- the promotion of networking by recruiting new network members and promoting young talent
- the coordination of interdisciplinary, disciplinary and interdisciplinary applications, publications and lectures
